Woolsery Village Concert
The village concert never ceases to amaze me!
Last October I asked the village organizations and individuals to provide an act for the concert and left them to it. I never know what standard it will be until the rehearsal on the afternoon of the first performance. What a surprise! While I and the other tutors were getting the Dramarama kids in shape for their part in the procedures, everyone else was busy rehearsing and getting themselves prepared. And what a show! Singers, dancers, comic sketches, a juggle and a doctor with a silly accent; what more could an audience ask for want? (Their money back?) Huge thanks to all those who took part; both on and off the stage, with special thanks to Jill and Geoff De’ath for their work front of house and Hazel Chapman for selling all the tickets again!
